Any golfers here? What do you normally score?

I love golf. Such a great game/sport... Master's week is coming up, which is one of my favorite events to watch all year, in all of sports! I've been playing tho since I was about 5 and was swinging clubs at the age of 3. My scores typically range anywhere from upper 30's, low 40's for 9 holes... upper 70's, low 80's for 18. Always trying to better my game...

So yeah, what do you normally shoot? Also, what's the nicest course you've played, and what is your most impressive feat on the golf course?

I haven't played since I was about 13 or so. I too started around 5 years old. I use to go with my dad and brother. In my teen year I would shoot around par or a few points under. Now, I'm probably horrible. =P

Wow man, that's really good! Why did you stop?

Well you can only do so much. I played basket ball, hockey, wrestling, did this leadership group thing in middle school, needed time with my friends, etc. Those things just seemed more interesting at the time. I went on to win the state championship for wrestling, and won a number of league finals for hockey, so I did good at those was well. =) That stuff ate up my weekends so golf was kind of out except on rare occasions during the summer. I live in south Florida so golfing in the summer is...

kind of brutal. My interest in it just kind of faded out. meh, I don't know why.

actually, it might have had to do with my fathers change of career now that I think about it. He use to be in banking. Then he started his own business around that same time. Maybe it was when he stopped playing gold I did for the most part. I remember me and my brother going during the summer from time to time. The weekends with my dad stopped though. That is probably the real reason now that I think back. hmm

I enjoy playing golf, mostly because I decided at the outset not to try to get good at it. I already had enough anxiety in my life. ; - )
