I'm definitely going to try it. I just want to know how it worked out for others?
Has anyone here ever tried Insanity?

I have it and tried it but only got two weeks into the program before I stopped due to injury. It's serious stuff and requires you to do it in a place that has a lot of head room (due to the plyometrics) and a fair amount of floor space.
While doing the program you will have to follow the nutrition program outlined with it as keeping with a 40/40/20 macronutrient ratio and keeping to a fairly high calorie diet (for you it would probably be in the neighborhood of 1700 calories a day) is crucial to making it work. The guide book has the recipes you will need.
In the two weeks I did it I saw noticeable results. I took progress pics only one week apart and I have noticeably less flabby mass to me in the pic one week in.
Insanity's only real fault is the fact that without certain types of equipment (or at least a pullup bar or a rope to do bodyweight rows from) you won't be doing much for your upper back. I would say to supplement it with a weightlifting regimen that consists of targeting the muscles in the upper back and biceps specifically since these muscle groups are mostly ignored by floor calisthenics. Do these exercises on the same day you do the Cardio Power & Resistance DVD.
Remember, nutrition is key. 40/40/20 macronutrient profile is integral to Insanity. I know this may be a challenge for you as a vegan since you don't have access to foods that are pure protein with no carbohydrates or fats.

I supplement it with lifting and it works great. Really doesn't do any good when it comes to building muscle since it's pretty much just cardio, but as far as getting cut and increasing endurance, if you have the right diet it does it's job needless to say
It's a really, really intense program - too much for me, honestly. It assumes that you're already relatively athletic, as some of the exercises require more strength and endurance than I have just to do a few reps. (For the record, I'm relatively sedentary - I run and bike when the weather is amenable to it - but I'm also pretty skinny and have no upper body strength to speak of.)
I had tried it out because it really doesn't require equipment outside of enough floor space to jump and move around in, but I just couldn't keep up.
I've heard a lot of good reviews on it and wanting to try it out myself. The only routine that I have tried out is the p90x and it was amazing results.

I went on a trip with a girl who was doing it. I did it with her for one night. He is super hot but it is f***ing INSANE!
It's not an ideal muscle building routine.
If you want muscle definition, you need to lift heavy, period.
