Do you prefer glasses or contacts?

I've been wearing my glasses mostly for a while. I wish I had gotten the transition lenses, cause it's bright and I'd like to wear sunglasses too. But I have dry eyes, and have tried drops and oasis contacts and it's still uncomfortable. So just glasses...

Contacts. I even wear hard contacts. With hard lenses I have 20/10 vision.

I hate glasses. Always dirty, slipping etc. On the flip side I always wear sun glasses. Go figure.

I'm not a good candidate for Lasik. If I was I wouldn't do it. Even though less then 10% of this surgery is unsuccessful that's too big of a risk for me to take. You can't fix the only eyes you will ever have. Once the damage has been done you're screwed for life.

I look at it this way. It takes me 30 seconds to put my contacts in everyday & a minute to clean them. I'll take that time over a lifetime of lasik troubles.

Most girls look cute with the right pair of glasses.

hope I helped. oh and depending on your glasses you use to be able to get clip on sun glasses that you can flip up and down but I don't know if they make them any more.

ooh. have you looked at the prescription sunglasses? those might be what you need. they are like normal seeing eye glasses but have a tint to them so they look like sunglasses.

I prefer glasses. Tried contacts once for about a month and that was a complete disaster. Plus with glasses I can change my look every year or so by getting new frames, and they are generally a great accessory with every outfit.

I used to wear my glasses all the time, but now I don't need to wear them so much because my eyes are much better now than they were when I was younger. That's another reason why contacts would be a pain for me - I can no longer wear them all the time so I'd have to keep taking them out. With glasses, I just put them back in the case and pop them in my bag or pocket when I don't need to wear them.

i have dry eyes too, but I use acuvue moist dailies lenses aswell as occasionally taking a course of eye drops aswell so it doesn't bother me :]

i don't like glasses. they make me eyes feel tired, and I always end up hitting my face or poking my eyes with them. you'd think it would get easier after 6 years... -.-

Are those contacts really expensive?

Not really. Over here they're around 60e for 30 pairs. I'm on a direct debit plan so I get them cheaper, but Ireland is really expensive in general though anyway.They have reusable ones aswell like acuvue advance for around the same price. It's worth asking around though, some places give free trials and stuff.

BOTH. There's something about a girl with glasses that's SOOO nerdy and sexy. There's this girl in my computer science glass, who wears glasses and I fall in love every time I see her. ha ha also there's this other girl my calculus II class who wears glasses. So damn adoreable.

depends on what I'm wearing sometimes glasses just don't go with how with what I'm wearing or how I feel and I don't like allot of stuff on my face..i don't even wear makeup cause I hate the feeling on my face lol I do like contacts..Sometimes if I don't have to I don't wear either..really bad habit lol

yup., you can change the glasses according to your need or fashion., and most people love glasses, and they prefer it too., so you must wear glasses., Sometimes you need to b comfortable which can be with glasses., it must not b that mush with lenses.

It depends what I'm wearing. If I'm wearing boarding shorts, t shirt, and flip flops I'm going to wear lenses. If I'm wearing my everyday slacks, dress shoes and shirt ill wear nice glasses. also lenses come in handy when I play sports

Just thinking of putting something in my eyes scares me.I am afraid of contacts.

I use glasses to watch tv,read,and using the computer.So,yeah,I prefer glasses.

I got glasses recently but I don't wear them a lot id rather have them than contacts because they last longer and you don't have to worry about which contact is for what eye and if it dries out ect.
