Avoid corn sugar, especially hydrogenated. Also avoid diet drinks and sodas made with aspartame as that can slow your liver in it's ability to process fat and be worse for you than sugar for losing weight. As for soda, cut it out but if you need it the and switch to the ones made with real cane sugar and drink in moderation. Aim for around 1500 calories a day if active, a bit less if not. Get active if not, start walking for 15 minutes a day and increase it by five a week until you are up to 45 minutes. Do that three times a week at least. I have lost ten pounds doing this.

I think good health begins with diet. It was only after I had a really bad diet for a year or two that I finally clued into what counted as good food and what didn't. So things had to get worse before they got better, before it was real to me.
When you eat better your mood and energy levels will pick up eventually, and then you'll -want- to go out and exercise more.

In order, you should start drinking ONLY water. I went from drinking pop for every meal to just a couple times a month and now I'm 25 pounds lighter.. just from THAT.
After that, start eating healthier, and then exercise. If you exercise while eating crappy food, you really won't feel that much better. You need to start with what you eat first.start by changing your'e diet, and then adding exercise, and different small lifestyle changes, start small and work your way up, doin everythig all at once is not the smartest thing, cause it causes people to quit early
go for walks, once your comfortable start jogging
do yoga, pilates
get plenty of sleep and try not to stress out too much
hit the gym
drink plenty of water
have a balanced diet with multiple meals throughout the dayI guess that depends on what you think is "unhealthy" about your body. If it's strength you want to build up, then you might want to start a morning routine of pushups and situps. If it's your weight, well my dad used to say "put down the fork and go for a walk"-- in other words, eat a little less (a LITTLE less, no starving yourself) and try to get a little exercise. You'd be surprised what a walk around the block will do for you.
Hike where there isplenty of fresh air, then start running once your strength is up to it.
Drinking water.
Avoiding artificial foods.
Pro-biotic foods like yogurt, kefir, because they re-grow your healthy digestive bacteria.Eat right, exercise, no smoking, seriously you'll probably live like 10 years longer.
