When I finish university, I would like to start doing yoga and zumba (home DVDs). I can't afford classes.
I was wondering how beneficial yoga is.

I do yoga once a week or so, to stay limber since running makes my legs so tightly wound, if I don't do a lot of stretching I get cramps all the time.
Oh, yes, also I love to check out the teacher, always wearing somethig revealing, since most of the class is women and she doesn't worry about how she looks.
Yoga is great for strengthening your core, and the rest of your body as well. Definitely helps with flexibility as well, and helps you to focus and release tension throughout your body. this can be extremely helpful for long stressful days, or just whenever you feel you need to relax.
I've never done yoga, but I've done pilates dvds, and that's similar. I noticed that when I did them regularly my posture improved so much, and I could stand forever and never get a sore back like I used to.

Been doing it about a month and I am more flexible. Its just something I enjoy doing about twice a week. Now that school is out I can probably do it every day.
