What are some reasons for bruising easily?

I can literally bump into something and not think it hurt but wake up with a huge bruise and like my brother sometimes to be a jerk will poke me in the are and it hurts more than being punched and it bruises so bad seriously sometimes I have bruises on my butt just from sitting...

Some people are just like that. I'm irish, so I'm pretty fair-skinned...have the same problem.

thin blood, thin skin, high blood pressure, blood clots.

all a bruise is is a blood clot that rushes to the skin.

Oh how do you know about thin blood or skin? Its not blood pressure I was just at the doctor lol

when you get a paper cut on your finger, does it bleed a lot or a little? if it's a lot and it's a light red, your blood is thin, if it's a little, and is a dark red color your blood is thick and. you can usually tell how thin your skin is by how vivid your vains are in your arms. look at them, if they are a very visable then your skin is pretty thin but if otherwise then it's not.

Oh yeahs my veins are visible, but I don't go around inspecting others veins so I have no clue as to whether or not they are more visible than others are.

anemia, problems with blood pressure, or blood clotting. internal bleeding may be an issue if you literally get bruises for no reason.

i'm anemic so I bruise easy but it could just be genetics that you bruise easy.

well if I don't take iron pills then my body craves water and anything that has a lot of water in it.. also that I bruise easily.. I don't know of any other symptoms.
