How to get rid of breakouts?

I have several breakouts here and there and I have a party to attend this Saturday! Any home remedies that work ?

Don't pop any, that won't solve anything. Get yourself a good quality face mask, maybe a peel off one or a deep cleaning mud mask, apply it about an hour before you go to bed, leave it on for the recommended time then wash your face, use a NEW CLEAN towel to dry your face (as extended use of one towel can harbour bacteria) and then when you've finished that, leave the skin for ten minutes to properly dry off then apply some toothpaste to your face before you fall to sleep, be generous, rub the paste in to the areas that need attention and leave on till morning and then toothpaste should dry out the spotty areas making it easier to deal with. When you put make-up on for the party (If you do!) use a sponge to put any concealer or foundation on your face, don't use your fingers else you will be concealing your face using the naturally occurring bacteria on your hands and finger tips which may irritate the skin further. Continue the toothpaste routine for however long is necessary.

Do you normally get breakouts? Or is this just a sudden thing that happens once in awhile? It could be a lot of things. Stress, poor diet, menstrual cycle, etc. Find the cause of it then once you work on that issue I can guarantee your breakouts will cease.

As for home remedies, I've heard oatmeal and lime juice works as well as applying a glob of toothpaste to the pimple. Rubbing alcohol can dry up the area (what I usually use) and then that helps a lot. But it all depends on your skin type. All of the home remedies for breakouts aren't for everyone so I suggest you research more about it based on your skin type just to be sure.

Well, apart from the usual acne remedies, if you tried them and they still haven't helped, I would recommend a good concealing make-up.

Wash your bedsheets and use a facial cleanser that contains benzoyl peroxide twice a day.

I don't have any home remedies that I know of for that .But I would say try to stay away from stimulants and food with a high sugar content .Such things will cause your skin to secrete more oils which can make the zits worse and cause more to appear .Regular washing of the face combined with staying away from said things should help get rid of the blemishes .

Don't pop them whatever you do, its not worth it . they should have died down quite a bit by Saturday. nothing makeup won't cover.
