If you really worked hard you could lose 10lbs/month at your weight.
After the initial month you would have to raise the intensity in order to maintain that rate of weightloss but it's possible.
Realistically speaking, you're human. You make human mistakes and it takes a long time to get rid of bad habits for good. So I'd say if you lost 10lbs over the entire summer, that would be an accomplishment. Going from 160 to 130 is possible in the long run, just don't give up and you'll get there by the end of the year.

If you're serious about losing weight find friends to work out with you or get a personal trainer. It is very difficult to stay motivated by yourself. Losing thirty pounds is fine but it may take a bit longer than the summer. A great site for weight loss exercise is bodyrockers. They have tons of free videos on YouTube the channel is charliejames1975
30 lbs for the duration of the summer?
maybe that's a bit too much (assuming 3 months=summer).
I would probably give myself at least a good 6-9 months for
a 30 lb weight loss.
I think ~15 lbs is reasonable for the summer.
I don't really know your physical build and whatnot, but I'd say for
a 5'6 girl, fully developed, maybe around the 110-135 ballpark?
Good luck!
And whatever you do, don't go below 900 cals daily!
How long is your summer for? If its 3 months then I'd say go for 20 first. Although I highly suggest you start off with small goals such as 2 or 3 pounds for that week then go from there. It all depends on what you're diet and exercise are like.

2 pounds a week is the "standard limit" for healthy weight loss, so 30 pounds is pushing it for one summer. It also gets harder the more you lose.
You want to set realistic goals. If you don't you'll just get discouraged when you're not hitting them. I'd say go for 20 instead of 30, and keep it up after the summer is over.Losing one - 2 pounds a week is reasonable.
