Do you enjoy your exercise, do you do it because you should, or do you avoid it because you don't like it?
I really hate exercising. I was awful at sport in school and dreaded every P.E lesson. I started jogging a few times but ended up quitting because I just found it so boring- there is no mental stimulation.
Then I tried Zumba, and found the same thing. To me, it feels like I'm back at WHSmith, scanning items while I go brain dead. I don't enjoy sports either because I don't have a competitive side.
Can anyone relate to this?
I just can't fathom giving up time practicing my instrument and studying for extra exams for exercise.
I know I want to lose weight. I'm healthy, but could lose 10lbs and still be a good weight. I just really can't find the motivation to exercise.
I thought of buying a treadmill or exercise bike so I could read or knit or something at the same time (if that's possible), but my Mum doesn't want on in the house.
