NERVE-RACKING Group interview, did I do good or bad?

I was the youngest one and I was probably the only one with no college degree or whatever. The employer clearly stated they don't care about degrees, but they are looking for certain skills such as being an active listener, good communicator, and be able to connect with people easily. THOSE three things, I had in my resume. ANYWAY!, the employer asked "what is a career" and I was the only one who answered "A career is when you decide to practice perfectionism in your profession, which is something like marriage".

The employer was shocked and stated It was a really strong answer and example. And then throughout the group interview, he kept using me as an example, he kept eye contact with me to explain things 80% of the time, and kept joking around with me.
