Do you think I deserve chest surgery

I'm 6'3 and 220 I lost 105 pounds.

Before I lost weight, I wanted my doctor permit insurance covered chest surgery.

He told me to lose weight first. Now that I lost 105, my doctor is very impressed but still would not permit surgery for my chest.

I feel that I did the work to qualify that I have a problem. I have had blood work done and came out clean but this still isn't right. Keep in mind I have NOT stopped trying to lose weight. I'm still going strong.

Does this look normal to you?

Yes you should seek a second or even third opinon backed up by an endocrinologist

Bottom line: cosmetic surgery isn't covered by insurance. Insurance pays only for what is medically necessary (sometimes not even then). Plus, if you've lost as much weight as you have already, you can get to where you want to be and avoid a risky procedure.

wow man great job, the right women will love you no matter way. As far as the doctor, that most likely will only do surgery if its life threatening, I don't know what you can say to make them change their minds..

from my experience its always good and smart to get a second opinion on everything, from alternators to surgery. congrats on your weight loss by the way. I've also lost 50 pds this year myself
