Let good health be the motivating factor~! Increased energy levels, clearer thinking when the body is processing less toxins, feeling more confident about yourself for having increased strength in your body, lowering your risk of cardiac problems in the future, extending your potential life span, etc. If you do not feel like you need to lose weight, that's fine, it is still in your best interest to exercise and stay in shape~! :-) If you are forcing yourself to exercise too much inside of that two week period and that is adding to your frustration of not seeing results that quickly, maybe you need to find a moderate level of exercise that makes you feel good for the sake of exercising, without over-reaching and sending yourself in the opposite direction. Also, I recommend taking the powdered form of the amino acid L-Glutamine, about 4000mg once a day or twice a day, the day you exercise and for a couple days after, this will help make your muscles form quicker (and heal quicker if they get sore after exercise) and you will see results sooner than if you didn't take it. It can be found at any health food store. I am a nutritionist, and I have seen amazing results in my own body when I take it after working out or doing strenuous labor, and I have seen it do great things for people. Good luck~!

I'm working and going to school as well. It seems I have no time in the world for anything else, but when it's something you really want, you make time. I've found a 20 min per workout exercise routine that I can do three times a week, and at night before I go to bed I do pushups and sit ups. I also do leg, butt, and ab tensions while sitting at my desk at work. Most of my food choices are healthy, even when I have to eat out. And I splurge occasionally so I stick with it. There are alterations you can make so that you can still lose weight with a busy schedule.
Also, don't weigh yourself for like a month. I'm serious. The scale will stress you out. Measurements are a much better indicator of weight loss. Take measurements once a week or every two weeks. Also remember that your weight didn't come on in one week, so it's not going to come off in one week either. Little changes over time will gradually take it off and then some.
Let yourself off the hook.
When we place high expectations on ourselves, it can bite us in the ass.
If you take the "never quit quitting" approach, like the stop-smoking ad, you'll do better.
Getting a little exercise is better than none at all. I've got to lose about 30 pounds, and have tons of anxiety and depression issues, but I know by summer I'll be in bikini shape. Just kidding. I'm more of a one-piece gal.
I get out and walk to where I can hang out and use my laptop. Gets me off the couch, and starts the body out of deep freeze. If I miss a day and don't do 4 miles, oh well. I let myself off the hook. There's tomorrow.
I also went through the grocery store with a fine tooth comb the last few trips. Look at everything you buy and try to find the lowest fat, sugar, and especially sodium. Sodium contributes a lot to your hypertension and makes anxiety worse.
If your boyfriend is a good guy, or just well trained to keep his yap shut, then consider losing weight positive reinforcement for him. A reward to him for being so cool about it. Make sure he knows you're doing it for you and for him, and tell him not to worry, if he gets jealous.
Relax, take it easy, don't let expectations keep you frozen like a deer in the headlights.
You have to be dedicated and diciplined. Unless you put in the time and effort - no shortcuts - no matter how long it takes - you won't reach your goal.
You probably didn't gain the 20lbs in a month, so don't expect to lose the weight in that same amount of time. Your not on The Biggest Loser where they spent all their time dieting and exercising.
You have to make time. 10 mins, 20 mins, or 30 - before or after work ro work out.
Use that picture or something that you want to fit better on you again (like that shirt) and use as motivation. That's what I do with old jeans.
Good luck! :)

i used to be the same way...i am 30lbs overweight...i am 5ft 3 and weigh 176..but I go to the gym two times a day...just think of things that piss you off and when you work out be angry so you work harder...you don't have motivation if you just give up and not do sh*t to take that next step. man up and do the sh*t that you want instead putting it off. work hard.
Try to get into some athletics programs at your school. I never really had motivitation to stay fit till about my 6th grade year. Things like basketball, soccer, cross country, track, even tennis, require a lot of cardio, which is great for trying to slim it down. Even putting on weight and replacing it with muscle is good. A bunch of NFL players do that. I had zero motivation until my athletics class whipped me into shape. I'm only 5" 9' and 153 pounds, but my max bench is 170 and my squat is at 255 in my freshman year. A positive mindset can take you anywhere. :)
I recently saw a site on Facebook for young women wanting to get healthy. It looks quite good. link
you personally will not see the improvements, and two weeks is a very short time, you need to focus on 6 weekly weigh ins, and just because you don't see the change, other people will and so will the scales and jeans, so exercise for 6 weeks, its a little of your life to give to get great results, and after the 6 weeks, you won't want to stop,x
I used to be in a similar situation as you. Few people have the motivation and discipline to just follow strict rules all the time. What I found to be efficient is to create a routine. For example every Thursday I go swimming with friends and even when I'm stressed or tired I go because it has become an habit. So try to setup a regular routine which is not too ambitious and which you will be able to follow. When you'll start to see results the motivation will come by itself
change your diet, exercise simple. healthy living is a lifestyle, can't get in shape in 2 weeks, takes months years even but its all worth it for the end result. I still have about 30 pds to lose myself. I've lost 60 pds last year. probably about 40 of those pds from just changing my diet. I also walk a lot at my job, usually up and walking around for at least 6-7 hrs 5 days a week. fyi a person can't have motivation yet not have motivation. kind of an oxy moron there
Don't focus so much on the idea of loosing weight because that can cause stress which can be the reason why you weren't getting results. Remember wheight loss isn't fast and requires effort. It took me about half a year to lose 20 pounds but it definitely changed my lifestyle.
maybe it's not motivation you lack, but inspiration, I usually go on this website called feelingsuccess. com to get inspired! :) It's got very influential people (athletes too) who will give that extra fire, especially for the subconscious mind...
How about going to weight watchers they have a program that really works I'm down 20 pounds in a month and they show you how to change your eating habits.
Two weeks? You wanted to see results in two weeks?
You're not being remotely serious about this.Listen to good music and sleep better...
