I don't feel that way at all. Money is not the most important thing in the world to me, my family is. I am not wealthy and have never pursued a guy based on his income. Actually, a few years ago, a guy I was dating developed this big resentment toward me because I turned him down when he offered me money and would tell him to take back expensive gifts that he tried to give me because I knew he couldn't afford them. He ended it later and said that I didn't appreciate his gestures, but really, I just don't think that in a relationship, sex, money and material things mix. It just complicates things and causes strife down the line. I have seen a lot of my married couple friends argue about money. Both parties feel entitled to getting and not compromising in the money situation because of the material and fiscal gestures made by each of them at the beginning of the relationship. Each person is thinking He/She owes me! No thanks, I'll have none of that. If I really want something I save my money and buy it for myself.

Opinions do vary now don't they? What you believe is to your own discretion. I told about my own experience in the situation pertaining to money and I have my reasons for not accepting it. Not everyone is going to be a certain way just because you believe they are. I am not a gold digger even if you think that all women are.
