Could I be allergic to ultrasound gel?

I had an echocardiogram and by the time I got home I noticed pimples all over my chin and I've never in my life had pimples on my chin and they hurt. By the way this was my first echocardiogram. So could I be allergic to ultrasound gel?

The lady put it on my neck also ( I guess to view my carotid artery or something) and rubbed up a little probably putting some on my chin which I didn't feel so...

Those with an allergy to ultrasound gel (which is rare) get skin irritation on the application sight. Since you had an EKG, I highly doubt the location of the break out you describe was from the ultrasound gel. Put some clean & clear on the site for five days. If there is no noticeable change, make an appointment with a dermatologist.

Well rare would be me, I think I'm just allergic to it.

I doubt it.

If you were allergic your skin would brake out in hives or a rash and not pimples on a location unassociated with the region being tested. It could be stress related. That can play around with your hormones and cause brakes outs.

I'm not stressed and I've done an allergy test and I'm literally allergic to everything, so I wanted to know if this was something I was also allergic to- I'm even allergic to feathers and epidurals (and I never had a kid, so I think I'm gonna have a bad birthing experience off the bat lol if I ever have kids.
