At the moment, I'm 5ft 11in and weigh about 200lbs. My goal is to lose at least 25lbs by August. Do you people out there that know more about this stuff than I do think it's possible with this workout plan?
-Moderate to strenuous weight training Monday through Friday, working different muscle groups each day.
-Light cardio (30-40mins on moderately paced treadmill/bike) three times a week.
I know it's not as hardcore as it could be, but I'm also not trying to get down to 110, just around 170-175. If I cut calories in the right places and drink my milk, is this goal realistic?

I've always kept fairly slim, but several years back I wanted to shed 20 pounds, so I dieted faithfully, and swam 50 laps in my pool each night. In the first week I lost 7 pounds, which spoke well of dieting and swimming, and would make your weight-loss goal seem achievable.
You are a guy...so with the weight training you could definitely lose the 25lbs by August. Just be consistent! I hate this about guys. I used to do these kind of plans with my step dad. I'd lose five pounds and he'd drop twenty five :)
it's possible, but remember that all that working out is going to lead to muscle! muscle weighs more than fat, but that's okay cause you're a guy! lol. guys are allowed to be muscular!
