Could She Possibly Still have Feelings For Me?

I had known a girl for approximately 2 years. I am not sure but believe she wanted to be more than friends. She used to make sexual innuendos all the time. About 6 months ago out of nowhere she told me she had started seeing a guy. I don't know whether it was true or not but I believe I over reacted by arguing with her in our health club. She literally stormed out. I tried to apologize later (even sent her a long letter) but never got a response.

Last week I saw her for the first time in about 4 months. When she saw me she looked straight ahead. Would not look at me. It appeared though she looked very sad almost like she wished she could take things back. Very somber and almost very very shy look on her face.

Again, I am a guy so am not sure what she was thinking. Has this happened to anyone else and, if so, can I get some advice? Again, for 2 years we were best of friends. Kissed her a few times and went out socially. Then after this argument nothing. Any advice.

I can say when we first met her girlfriend said she really liked me. She had also told me she had a hard time relating to men. I do really still like her but don't know how to handle this.

She only thought of you as a mate, not boyfriend material.

She felt comfortable around you because she knew she did not feel attracted to you sexually.

My best mate is a guy 15 years older than me, we talk about everything, we kiss and hug every time we see each other, I am not attracted to him sexually, so nothing will ever happen. He has felt like you and wanted more as we get on so well, I told him, sorry I love you but only as my bestie, I could not be with you as a boyfriend. I just don't feel that way with you.

She probably feels you spoils your good friendship.

Can I ask u, if she did not see me as boyfriend material, why did she always talk with me about sex? Telling me how good I looked, how a woman has needs, grabbing my abs, etc. She said we needed to see more of each other. I did not pick up on her hints until after the argument. I can not see a girl being so open about sex and not have some meaning behind it. Let me also state, I can guarantee you she only talked this way to me while at our health club. She also told me she always had a hard time relating

My guy and I discuss sex all the time, we are two adults, I tease my guy and have pinched his butt, he knows I am not turned on by him it is us just being playful with each other. Having a laugh.

Women want a good male friend to get the guys perspective on certain things. Some things your girlfriends just can't answer if you know what I mean.

Just talk to her and apologize. If she accepts them great, if she doesn't then at least you tried. She probably had feelings for you a while back but thought you might now so maybe that's why she started seeing somebody else. Arrange a small coffee date, nothing too serious and open up to her about that day and listen to what she has to say.

Thanks. It was a huge mistake on my part to how I reacted...getting angry. I truly wish it never happened. I am not perfect. I make mistakes but I only got upset because I really did care for her. My anger was out of concern and hurt.

Your anger could've came from your inner feelings towards her. We're all human yes, I know but when someone is angry at somebody else they don't see that.
