How do you guys keep yourself from fainting during a dissecting experiment?

Anonymous
Later on in the year, I'm going to dissect a pig...The problem is, I'm really sensitive to blood, and...vital organs in general.

Back in freshmen year, I passed out from dissecting a rat, it was too much for me to handle T.T. In fact, the teacher felt so much pity, he just gave me a substitute assignment because of "fear of my health" LOL.

How much more can I handle it, if I dissect a pig? It's AP Bio, and I really want to toughen up, and learn from it. I don't want to miss out because of my trivial sensitivity. (Nor do I want a concussion again. . . ) (??;)

Any suggestion is greatly appreciated! (:

I've posted this before, but I'm looking for actual great tips. I didn't get a lot of tips the last time I posted this question.
