may be. its all about timing though. depends when you met the girl and how long has it been since you both have been getting to know each other. how often you see each other and talk... etc
the key here is that if you let it go on for too long and keep playing the games, she will lose interest and will see you as a player. if you do it only in the beginning stages of meeting someone then it works and keeps them interested. but I would say anything more than 1-2 months I would lose interest and move on and see the guy as not serious type, and I wouldn't trust him anymore, who knows may be he's seeing 3 other girls than me...u gotta do it the right way if ure gonna play that game. it should be a ladder process, like one step to the next, you meet someone, then you get to know them, keep them interested play here and there, then you both really fall for each other, then you go out on a date, one date becomes two dates, then three, then ure official, and yeah keeps going up from there. you shouldn't play games after initial stages if you know what I mean...otherwise the basis of a relationship is already ruined to begin with.

I am sad to say that it is kind of true. People take for granted lots of things in life not only relationships with people. As the saying goes "The grass is always greener on the other side." All you can do is be the best person you can be and treat people how you would want to be treated and eventually they will appreciate your true worth when you are there paying attention to them just as much as when you are not.
No it's a myth. It's rooted in a real happenstance that you will never experience. It's rare.
Who the f*** spreads all this misinformation to the masses anyway?

yes, caring too much is desperation. but to care nothing isn't good too.
Probably because you're more relaxed and because you don't care you appear more confident maybe.
