I have been trying to resolve a problem but boyfriend is running away from it

my boyfriend and I have always been honest with each other and very real and upfront. He got angry with hurtful things I said and atarted acting different which is very out of character because he always tries to work it out.

For 2 weeks I have been trying to solve it and bring it up but he runs away from it. He just wrote stop you're stressing me out and all that. I don't know why he won't try to fix it. Maybe I've been too pushy. But basically I wrote I need to fix this once and for all and be wrote I'm going out and I wrote I think this is more important and he wrote that I'm stressing him out so I told him that he can text me when he's ready to talk and he wrote wtf is your problem.

I don't allow him to talk to me like that so I guess I need to ignore him. Maybe space will work?

Ps, I know he doesn't want to break up. What we have has been very strong and I've asked him. He's just stubborn.

Usually when a relationship starts going a different direction like from working it out to all of a sudden it becomes much harder, I don't know all the details but you should probably consider if there is anyone else he's been hanging out with a lot more than you. People don't just "shift" on you unless they have someone else on the side. It's almost like he is trying to make it difficult so you would yell and leave him and so he would have an excuse to leave you.

The situation can go one of two ways.

1) Your pushing him to much about the situation and he doesn't want to talk about it because he himself hasn't figured out what he wants to say. Sometimes guys need more time to think about a situation than women do in order for them to process their thoughts correctly. Whatever the situation is it shouldn't be anything different from what it's normally like to sit and talk about it. Maybe he never wants to talk about it...

2) He's playing a male trick.. I guess you could say. Ignoring things on purpose to get you to become mad and everyone will see you as crazy ad he's excuse to leave is perfect. It's like a setup. Ask yourself why the strange behavior all of a sudden, something in his life must have change in order to produce such shift in behavior.

My advice is ask him to talk and if he doesn't want to, give him space to come to you when he is ready. However, never let your guard down because at the end of the day, he's not your man until he has proposed and there's a ring on your finger.

You mentioned you said hurtful things to him, right? Sounds like he has the same complaint with you then.

I can tell from what you've written here that you are pushy and controlling, so that's something you need to be aware of because it definitely factors into this equation.

It sounds to me like you pissed him off with things you said and he's still angry with you. If you keep being pushy and sporting that "you can't talk to me that way" attitude you're just making matters worse. Leave the poor guy alone for a while and let him cool off. Don't keep giving him more and more reasons to be angry with and stay away from you.
