Sometimes I put things off because I'm afraid ill be bored.. anyone else like me?

even things that I want to do eventually I put them off cause I'm afraid ill be bored by them. like watching Dr Who

I do it too. Like when my brother or some friends ask me to go swimming or snowboarding I'll ay no, because I will be stuck there for hors and probably be bored after a few minutes. But it's almost a case of 'get over myself and don't be a wimp'. Just do the things and notice it wan't that bad, and otherwise you'd be bored anyways, so so what

That's the main reason people put things off, because they don't want to do it. Haha!

well its not that I don't want to do it... its that some where down the line I'm afraid ill get bored of it... and I just hate feeling bored.

Well, try this -

Start it and do it until you feel bored. When you feel bored, THEN stop.

Don't let a possibility of future boredom keep you from doing anything :-)

I don't know. It's just... I can find something to enjoy -

Food, movies, TV shows, walking at the lake, exercise, long drives, long baths, books, writing, music, playing guitar, hanging out on GAG, talking and hanging out with friends/family, playing with my dogs, etc. On and on.

Yeah. I put off a lot of things for exciting YouTube videos almost every day. I have a few assigned homework pages to read over and I have yet to do so because the material is dense, its late, and I know ill fall asleep.
