I am 21 and male. Dentist said my teeth enamel is thinning. He will take X-rays when my braces come off for proper inspection of my whole mouth.i don't drink soft drinks or eat candy.
How to stop teeth from eroding or is it too late?
Heres what I told somoene else:
-Eliminate ALL acidic drinks and juices.
-Only drink water and more to stay salivated, dry mouth causes cavities, if you sleep with your mouth open, try not to. Reduce refined sugar even more.
-Reduce grains.
-Eat more butter.
-Reduce or eliminate milk, it actually causes osteoporosis and is bad for bones and teeth.
-Alkalize your mouth. Rinse your mouth with a teaspoon of baking soda in water a couple times a day.
-Read the book 'cure tooth decay - ramiel nagel' It's controversial, but you never know.
The most important thing you can do is:
-Take vitamin D3, does your multi only have 200-400 IU? Not enough. Take about 2000-4000IU/day to prevent and reverse cavities. Has to be taken with a meal containing fat.
-Take vitamin K2, 100-200MG/day of Mk7 form, or 5MG of MK4 form. K2 could be one of the most important new vitamins for bones and teeth. Keeps calcium out of arteries, and in bones.
-Take vitamin A.
-Chew xylitol gum, must have at least 5mg per piece and no aspartame, chew 3 pieces per day after each meal. Regular gum is not the same, don't chew it. Xylitol can also be bought in powder form to be used as a sugar substitute.
- If you also have gum problems, take extra Vitamin C. Rinse with a little bit of hydrogen peroxide in water each night.
You can get toothpaste which helps prevent it, the dentist will most likely tell you to brush more carefully. Although you can't brush too much because that also leads to issues. Your teeth should be fine, a lot of things are reversible. As far as I know tooth enamel doesn't really grow back, but you can stop the erosion by looking after them.
Milk teeth?
I have lost all my baby teeth. Slightly means slightly really round or just slightly round?
include food that contains silica in your diet maybe that might help give more enamel coating...
weleda toothpastes (seasalt) have silica ingredient in their paste.

Talk to the dentist. there are experimental ways to restore eroded enamel.
But for now, and the resto foyur life, you're going to have to use a lot of fluoride toothpaste and take extra care to keep your teeth clean. These white strips have done this to so many people!
They should be banned, really.
Your dentist is the person who will give you the best answer.
Boy thank you. My next appointment is in January when X-rays will be done. I'm asking right now
