Eye contact from a girl

There is this girl I work with that will occasionally flip her hair when I am around I feel like to get my attention. I've also noticed her do this in large groups of people so I'm my 100% sure it means anything. But, here is my question. This girl is pretty shy and hard to get into a conversation. I've kind of had small conversations with her here and there, but I see her walk and talk with this other guy quite a bit. The other day me and this other guy were walking down the hall together and she was walking towards us. They locked eyes and held eye contact the whole time we passed. She didn't even look at me only eye contact with him the entire time. I even said hi as she didn't

Acknowledge me. Why would she do this?

A lot of the time shy people are scared to be forward about their feelings towards someone so she may have just been trying to ignore you because she was nervous. Not everyone is the same though so keep that in mind. Make sure, if you like her, to really make it obvious, shy girls and guys won't believe the signs that someone is interested in them so you may even just try to tell her or ask her out. Good Luck!

I know but is she's a typical shy girl, then she will try really hard to not seem interested. Its weird, I know, but youhave to be pretty forward with shy girls but take it slow. Gradual but obvious

Oh, and not to mention last time the three of us ran into each other she made kind of flirted with me in front of him, but was looking at him while she was doing it? So confusing

If this were to happen to me then I would think she wasn't into me - heck, looking and holding an eye contact with another dude would be my sign to look for another girl
