Will eye makeup look bad on acne-prone skin?

I have acne prone skin, I have a few pimples and some small acne scarring. Was wondering if I would look bad with winged eyeliner and mascara alone? Does it look bad on acne skin or just plain weird? I have almond eyes and they are light brown and I have dark features, tan. Thoughts? please I am very insecure that's why I am over thinking this

Well, I mean, acne doesn't look very good in general. I'm sorry, but it's just not something that's very aesthetically pleasing. :/ So, I don't think it has anything to do with your eyeliner, or not. Although, if it's heavier enough and your acne isn't that noticeable it would probably take away the attention from the acne on your face. It would probably be best to have a little bit of cover up (natural minerals and types that don't clog your pores), just to even the acne out and make it less red. Although, for the most part, every teenager has acne, and the ones that you think don't, are either extremely lucky (apparently 2% of the population will never have acne), or have a concealer that works really well. But, I mean, what do you mean by a few pimples? How big are they? How red? And, how noticeable is the acne scarring? You might think it looks a lot worse than it actually is. So, yeah, basically, have some makeup that can help lighten the acne a little bit, and focus on your eyes and maybe wear a lip gloss.

thats why I was thinking if I might just look like a clown or something, but I remember one time I wore eyeliner and got many compliments. My acne isn't too noticeable since my skin has cleared up by lately I've been getting small pimples along my jaw. They aren't too red just like 3 small ones are kinda of.

Oh, then just wearing eyeliner and mascara will be fine. I mean, as I said, everybody gets acne, so as long as you're not completely covered in it, it's not really anything that people will pay attention to.

I have acne prone skin, my scarring people assume their freckles so I don't let them think otherwise lol. I wear eye make up, liner and shadows it doesn't look weird. I also put on a light foundation as well as long as you don't skip the base foundation or some lip color you should be fine. But say if you don't put on foundation use a retinol facial scrub and moisturizer in advance to make your face look a little brighter and fuller and less make up you'll have to put on.

Thank you! Your right today my friend thought I was wearing powder or something, it was probably them chemical peel I had the night before, glowing face even though I have acne scars. I just feel like it stands in the way of my confidence

eye liner won't do any harm it will bring out your eyes so poeple won't be looking that much at your acne I had acne and my face cleared up as you can see in my pic go to the doctor and ask for minox tablets all my spots went just because you have ance doesn't mean you can't look good wear eyeliner bit of lip pencil

i was on doxycycline and it kind of helped but its bad for liver in the long run so doctor prescribed me Retin- A so far has cleared up my acne but I get a few blemishes here and there.
