Is it wrong for an older male that works with children to be drawn towards the girl more?

I've seen women being more drawn to boys more than girls.

As a older male is it wrong to enjoy interacting with the girl children than boys.

As a boy I did play a lot of sports with guys, play fighting, power rangers and did a lot of common boy hobbies.

But I noticed that as I got older, and got injured from sports to where I could not perform high degrees of physical task that girls play a more calm, reserved, less arguing, mature and a more jolly style which I'm more drawn to.

When I Interact with boys its a more of a rough, loud, and a high physical tasks. I find that girls listen better.

Well I know there will be about a couple humans that will find me crazy, so please don't hold anything back.

in conclusion is it wrong for a male to rather interact with girls more than boys? does this go against society's norms? it in unacceptable? should I be thrown in jail?

If you're really good with children you shouldn't have a preference for a sex.

Also, a really good teacher may have different approaches but will still be able to reach the

children in the same exact way.

I think you should work on your skills a bit more.

It's okay that you are drawn more towards girls, but you shouldn't make that clear to the children.

They need to feel like they all have the same type of attention.

I don't think you should be thrown in jail.

You are not committing a crime, or lusting over these children.

You are just simply doing a job.

Don't feel weird about it.

If you don't have ill-intent to harm a girl in anyway physically, mentally, sexually and/or emotional harms etc. Then it's fine like being a friendly mentor.

I think it's pretty normal, and works both ways - girls usually prefer and respond better to male teachers, and boys to female teachers, and vice versa. Personally, I tend to find boys just want to be left alone and don't want to be told what to do etc, whereas young girls will be really clingy and talkative - so obviously I'm going to find it much easier and more enjoyable working with girls. It doesn't make you a bad person or a paedophile or anything like that - although it is your job to look after / educate everyone, not just the girls, so you can't make it obvious you have favourites.

If you work with kids, then I don't think it's unusual to prefer one sex over another. Boys can be awfully rambunctious when they're young, so I can see why girls would be more tolerable.

I don't think there's anything wrong with this as long as its not more than just an innocent preference. I also agree with the other answers.

That is nature. Daddy's girl/momma's boy. Even with no relatives and for some reason respect is shown more towards the opposite sex. It is perfectly normal.
