Never wanted to lose weight but had a serious sports injury which I've been told would have been prevented had I been in better shape at the time and not just been goofing around playing in a park on a Sunday and showing off.
After surgery and recovery I have been very diligent about going to the gym. I stopped laughing at people who work out and assuming their goals are totally vain. We need to put effort into taking care of ourselves and staying healthy. When you realize that you are largely in control / responsible for how you feel each day and how long you can maintain a healthy lifestyle you just have to get your act together.

College.
That and I went on a roller coaster and my belly jiggled when I went up the hill. That's when I decided that 115 was just too heavy for me. So I had to tone up a bit. I only lost 5 pounds but on my frame that was actually a lot. I felt damn sexy with my new found definition in my torso lol.
I was obese most of my life. And I never cared enough to do anything about it until I finally bought my first motorcycle at the age of 28. My weight got in the way of learning to ride safely. So I made it a goal to get fit because I wanted to take my bike to the track someday. So I did. I rewarded myself back in September by doing what I had set out to do.

Losing weight should never be a choice unless you plan to exercise as well, because the desire to lose weight alone without the desire to train, is pointless. I wanted to train, but only ever lost a stone in weight. I now weigh 15 stone and am happy. Not sure why I chose to train, but it wasn't anything to do with weight, probably just wanted to look a lot better, which often comes with weight issues, so I suppose it was just to manage my weight more correctly, the toner I got the less fat I would hold,x

Well I remember when I really started to want to gain weight. Was tired of my clothes fitting funny since I'm so tall. So I started a high calorie and high protein diet, started a legit lifting routine and now I guess I'm pretty happy with my weight. Although it's hard for me to maintain.
I felt worthless didn't have any self-esteem and I wanted to attract guys so I lost 30lbs 2years ago..now I attract guys but I still feel worthless. I look better but it didn't made me happy like I wanted to.
Went on a long holiday, had lots of nice buffets. Had to lose some weight as I realized my pants were starting to get tight lol. 3kgs. Well, perception-wise not much, but I feel a little more healthy and my pants aren't that tight anymore.
so many times... like my boyfriend being an asshole treating like I'm worthless...
