These rapid weight-loss diets are no good. Maybe you'd lose some weight, but as soon as you stop following the diet, you'll gain back the weight you've lost.
The best thing to lose weight is to develop a healthy lifestyle. That means eating healthy, well-balanced, and move a lot.
I've found out that paying money also motivates me to lose weight because I don't want the money spent to be for nothing. I'm on the Weight Watchers now.
If you have someone who lives near you, you can ask them to help control your eating habits. My roommate went shopping, bought helathy food, and then gives her ATM card and money to me so she couldn't buy any unhealthy snacks even if she was tempted to. In the past, we've also shopped groceries for each other. That way, we can't buy unhealthy food, because the choice isn't ours.
Be creative and find out what works for you. I've also given myself points for going to the GYM, and after collecting 30 points, I reward myself a much needed manicure.
Just try things out, be creative, and look for people who can support and help you, either in a motivating way or help control your bad habits.

Well I try to do it step by step, without drastic life changes/styles unless it's urgent and NEEDS to happen. You would need to go to your doctor to confirm your health status and see what you can do yourself, if not seek a professional to help you with your diet and exercise plans. If you have friends or relatives who are in those fields it would be awesome. Try to stick to a plan you can mix up into your everyday life and will just blend in naturally. Be motivated, have a goal, have a positive mind and work out with someone who is headed in the same path, so it won't be lonely. :)
Since you don't know how to use the machines, I would recommend either asking someone to help train you or do cardio to burn fat then worry about sculpting later on.
In 2012, that is what I had to do. I was in the 290 ballpark (not my max weight.) When 2013 came around, I was 225lbs and lost 14 more (I was busy, eating differently, not exercising.) I have put 9lbs back on. I motivation is getting under 200 (you can do that, or to fit in some old jeans even if you'd never wear them. Use ANYTHING AS MOTIVATION. That is what I did!)
Depending on how far you live from certain places... WALK! You don't have to take the bus or drive your car.
Before you eat, drink a glass of water. It helps you fill up faster.
I usually think about how I look and how others look at me. I also lost 45 pounds and managed recently to put 15 pounds back on so I started my routine again. I find that listening to music while I exercise is a big help as well as talking or texting on the phone ... I usually walk 4 miles a day ... I always have my phone with me. I actually almost do not notice my walk because I am busy while walking.

dude...dude...i lost 40 pounds in like 3 months and I did it healthy. I just cut out dairy, grains and soy. basically you are just eating meat, nuts, berries, fruits and veggies. its hard at first but then you don't crave anything bad anymore. I really just ate a shit ton of chicken and steak and potatoes haha and lost a lot of weight and its good to eat healthy fats too like cook with coconut oil oh and you can even have cookies. like for chocolate chip cookies instead of flour, use almond meal and instead of butter use coconut oil. anyway that's how I did it and drank a lot of water. I didn't really work out a whole lot either. I just walked everywhere.
I am in the progress of getting my personal training certification and have been bodybuilding and working out for over 5 years. I can help you if you want it just pm me remember don't make excuses for yourself I start work at 5:30 in the morning till 2:30 in the afternoon and I am deadbeat tired. And I still workout for 2-3 hours afterward procrastination never gets you anywhere trust me I know.
well I've lost about 100 pds so far by walking mainly biking, for at least one hr each day or more and eating right. consult the food guide for portion sizes and how much of which food you should be eating. I've been doing this for 2 years, 50 pds a year. I've also been doing pushups, squats, dips, and lately I've added yoga. yogas very relaxing, never knew how tense I was until I started stretching and doing yoga
Hi, friend. Studies show that rather than focusing on a number, focusing on improving habits and sticking to them is the best method for weight loss. Instead of having a soda with a meal, for instance, drink some water, and instead of snacking through the day, eat a big breakfast with lots of fruit. It's easier to stay motivated if it's focusing on the little things.
I would suggest thinking about joining a fitness club or trying out Zumba or something, that way you can meet new people that are motivated to working out and it might help to have support as well. Just keep on it, healthy isn't just a number on the scale it's a state of mind. You can do it
Your lucky. I've been trying to lose weight for 4 months and have lost one pound. Low carb diets work but when I get off the diet, I gain the weight back. Let the change and drop in scale weight motivate you to lose weight.
Looking at goal pictures helps also I started taking monthly progress pictures and measurements. Well I'm trying to gain weight but its the same concept
I normally just try to find something to do around the house or walk around michaels
