My school only offers soccer, basket ball, and baseball.
Should I sign up/ try out, or forget it?
I play a lot of sports through my school, with iffy results. Like you, I'm very athletic, so I've never had to worry about making the team. Consequently, I don't take the whole thing as seriously as some people. I'd rather focus on the battle than the war. I also did some sports for years that I hated, just because I got in the habit of it, and because I was good at them. It made me pretty miserable. I've also tried sports for a season, and never went back to them. (My school has three seasons, and two sports per season). On the other hand, I've found some sports that I really love. I've made tons of friends I wouldn't have otherwise with zero effort, and exercising is fun for me. So, if I were you, I would say join a sport you think you'd like best. If you don't like it, you can quit after the season, and try something else. It sucks that your school doesn't have any solo sports, or I would say go for one of those if you are worried about not being adept enough. If you think it's going to be a big issue, I'd say go for the least competitive team, who would be easy-going about teaching you. But other than that, go for what you like best, and remember that you don't have to keep it up.
Thanks, but ever team has the same players we're that small.
I hear what you're saying, my school has less than 300 people in it, so all of our sports teams have the same people too. That's sort of why I played things I didn't like, because nobody did just one sport, if you did one you did them all. Don't bow to that pressure!
I don't have the patience for that and thanks.
No problem and good luck! :)
Tennis would be the best; it's the most social, and you meet a lot of good looking girls that way.
The only sports offered are soccer, basketball, and baseball.
It's always worth it to try out. Even if you don't make it, you will at least have known you tried
