Should I go to the doctor or is this normal?

Ok I'm not good at explaining, but ill try.

Anyways I sometimes feel like ill get blind suddenly ,

Cuz when I lay on bed on my stomache , I feel pain in my head and I feel like my head is heavy and it gets dark like blind dark , and it hurts my eyes, ... And sometimes when I stand up quickly, it gets dark,...

It freaks me out,...

Is this normal , is it high blood p, or what...

You could have anaemia caused by low iron. This can make you feel dizzy and sometimes blackout because your blood cannot get enough oxygen. Make sure you are always well hydrated and drinking a good few glasses of water per day.

To increase the iron content in your blood eat more food such as spinach and red meat.

Try eating lots of these for a couple of weeks and see if your feeling stops.

If it does not stop then you should go and see your doctor!

I think, it's an early sign of acute congestive glaucoma according to your description..

But you should go see a doctor ASAP before it gets worse.

But I'm 20, I thought this only happens to older people, :s but ill go to the doctor, hope its normal. Thanx

Occurs in young persons too,if you're genetically predisposed :/

Is this happening after you work out? I have had this problem for the past 3-4 years after I work out fairly hard. Its mainly caused by:

Low blood pressure - when you stand up quickly, the blood doesn't go to your brain quickly enough

Anemia, low iron - you need to eat more spinach and meat

Possibly low blood sugar as well.

However, if this just started all of a sudden, with no change in your daily routine you need to get it checked out.

I would suspect diabetes, blood pressure, neurological problems, hormonal issues all being possibilities. Are you serious not getting this checked out sooner!?! Hurry up and tell a doctor for Christ's sake !
