Girls, how unattractive are stretch marks on a guy?

I started weightlifting two years ago and so far I'm glad to see that I've gained a great amount of muscle. The problem is that I've developed deep stretch marks around my shoulders, armpits and biceps. I'm pretty self conscious about them so I was wondering if girls care about stretch marks or pay attention to them. If you do find them unattractive, are there creams that help reduce the visibility of them?

firstly… OMG CONGRATS! that's awesome!

second… the way I see it, is that your a fighter. in fact, any guy or girl who is somewhat lean with stretch marks shows a story on their body. that they fought and worked hard to get to where they are, and that's just a mark of their achievement.

so therefore on a leanish person I consider them sexy, kinda like tiger stripes hah;P

I wouldn't care. I do agree with the notion that they are tiger strips-girls get them a lot simply from puberty (developing hips-so they are kinda marks of becoming a woman) and you got them through hard work-a mark of your working out.

Don't be self conscious about them.

There are creams to put on them to make them fade it you really want to.

Lol, but yeah, that doesn't matter to me or most girls at all. It would be hypocritical of us, most of use have them and some of us are insecure about them.

i don't think that it should even bother you. most girls have stretchmarks, skinny or not. it is apart of life & I doubt that you can do much about it, becides I'm sure your muscles would make up for it *wink*

Agree with Hannah! They ARE tiger stripes! I would say that most women do not care... As many of us have them as well. And most of the time we probably wouldn't even notice.. Don't sweat it :)

Haha don't even worry about it. I've seen them on guys before and I kinda admired it.

Lots of girls have stretchmarks so if a guy has stretch marks as well, it'll probably make her feel less self-conscious about hers too! But,I for one really wouldn't care if a guy had stretch marks or not. Don't sweat it :)

Most girls have stretch marks, too. They usually fade with time so they aren't as noticeable.
