That's the thing you need to push yourself and keep going instead of making excuses for yourself make an example of yourself. I look at myself and what I can become I have the body building genes in me so I gain and repair muscle very quickly I train religious every single day every week with crazy endurance and strength training. On top of that I train in several martial arts for me I don't make excuses I workout whether I feel like it or not because I know I will be better off and it will be my job as I am getting certified to be a personal trainer and I want my clients to have the same dedication I do. Educate yourself on exercises, nutrition, strength and endurance training look up the great body builders of the golden age 60s-70s those guys knew what they are doing body builders today don't hold a candle to them. if your knowledgeable then maybe you will be more motivated since you will know what your doing. Behind fear and doubt is the person you want to be and can be nothing worth doing is ever easy and you do not gain anything from doing nothing.
Good luck to you

You need to enjoy what your doing. Do exercises that you have an interest in.
If you want to gain muscle or weight you need to do the big compound lifts... Barbell squat - Deadlift - overhead press - pull up - bench press - Machines and other exercises just will not give the same stimulation as these movements.
You need a diet that consist of one gram of protein per lbs you weigh daily along with 500 calories over your base intake.
Make fitness and diet a lifestyle choice. Not a choir. This is one way I like to get people into the habit of exercising.
Eat a lot more to prepare your body to workout more for muscle mass to be gained. Try to get a positive mind, body and goal. Have smaller goals that reach the end goal. Keeping muscle is work, hard work, people don't stay in great shape after a couple of workouts, it's a lifestyle but don't worry. Good thing you are healthy, slim but healthy. Try finding a workout buddy that would be VERY helpful! :D
How I do it is I look at the models body. And obviously, you would want a nice and curvy body like there. So, you would start to work out more and more. The more you workout --> more you eat --> more muscles you grow-->better shape you will be. If you ever aren't motivated anymore, just go look at more model body and imagine what it would be like to have their body. It would feel nice.

I do a little boxing, and participate in the odd sparring night.
So when my trainer asks 'do you want to fight in 6 weeks', I say sure.
And then, you know, I train because I don't want to get beaten. Literally.Put up pictures of what yu would like to look like...in places you can't avoid seeing them. I'm sure you'd like to have more muscle tone...and more curves in some places!
high energy music you love. also leg press's no not squats. heavy leg presses, heavy squats will probably b a bad idea for u. walk up a treadmill everyday on max incline use only your calves
