Are these stretch marks?

I've had these very large, long noticeable shallow lesions on my upper tights for a long time now. Are they stretch marks? I'm rather slim and don't do a whole lot of activity to cause wear and tear on my legs

If they look like uneven grooves and are shallow, then yes, they are stretch marks. Stretch marks are caused by rapid growth like that which occurs during puberty or pregnancy. The skin gets damaged a little by the sudden growth, which then causes these marks as a result.

Anyway, I included the little explanation to show that anyone can get them. You may be slim, but your body still grew in some way to get them. I have them on my hips and thighs yet I'm thin as well. It doesn't matter about any wear and tear from activity - only sudden growth, and the skin not being able to keep up with it.

are they light white in colour then yes they are stretch marks. Stretch marks are usually gained when there is stretching of skin.

yeh I'm pretty sure they are. its OK tho=] maybe if you bulk up more your skin will tighten a bit=]

Yea, could be due to weight loss or muscle growth
