I have a cold? Does this means that its almost over?

I start a new job Friday. I do not really get colds often, but I had a sore throat Sunday/ Monday and now my body is bit weak and mucus is coming out of my nose left and right. I have shortness of my breathe but I think that is asthma related. Since so much mucus is coming out of my nose left and right does that mean it clearing up? I am drinking lost of water, green tea, and getting chicken soup today, and later sit in the bathroom and run the shower. I really nee dto get over this cold quick. My mucus is clear,

If your mucus is getting clear then you should be getting better, but runny/stuffy noses usually last a while after all the other symptoms go away. Don't forget to bring some tissues with you to your job so you can blow your nose when you need to :)

Usually with me, a sign that the cold is on its way out is getting a bad cough. But I think everyone's cold is a little different.
