Do you ever think about stupid things like that? What are they?
Did you ever wonder about this kind of thing?
Do you ever think about stupid things like that? What are they?
I do not wonder these things because these things do not strike me as points of wonderment. For instance your question isn't really a "who thought it was a good idea" but rather "when was this established in the evolutionary timeline?" since eating the eggs of other creatures has been instinctual for many primates since time immemorial. Actually being vegan is the odd-one-out.

All the time. Like, how did we figure out that grinding up a particular grass with water would make something edible.
Or an oyster... how many things did you crack open to eat before you found one that was decent.
Even milk...
Grinding meal is done by more than one creature. It's just done usually with insects, but the concept of grinding seeds and adding water to create a paste is not too far off.
Oysters would be instinctual. A lot of animals simply "know". Even humans have some elements of detection ( such as when we don't eat things that smell rancid ) for what is and isn't edible.
Milk however is the most abnormal and also the most curious. It is completely counterintuitive to drink milk but it was probably more plentiful than water for the nomadic tribes and when sustenance was scarce feeding one cow water (grass needs not included) so that you can feed ten people milk made sense. Still a lot of creatures have adverse reactions to the milk of others since it's specifically not designed for them. Lactose intolerance is one such reaction.
Definitely the milk thing. Who was the first to look at cow udders and think, "I wonder if I tug on these things if something will come out". Lol
Boy, some people are really taking you too seriously.
They really are. Lol I just meant it as something silly and random. Glad somebody took it lightly. :-)
Wondering is only useful if there's something to wonder. Some people are so complacent.
Who says every exercise in thought has to be useful?
So who gets to decide what's useful and what's not. Isn't any knowledge beneficial. Wondering about anything and everything is how we provoke discussisions and exercsie our brains. What starts out as a simple topic/question has the potential to evolve in something more. Like right now. Personally I don't like to limit my source of knowledge or the topics I discuss. But that's just me. :-)
Hahaha good question! I wonder those sorts of things every so often…could you imagine everyone else's reactions? lol "for god's sake, man, what are you doing? Get away from that animal!"
Not that one in particular, but yeah I tend to think of weird stuff like that lol :D!

You know what? Did you ever think who was the first person to taste the first drop of water or something like that? No...
Because, we consume anything edible to survive. Sure, you can do your own research and find out stuff to gain understanding about these foods. But they're mainly there to eat. Not to know who ate them at the beginning before anyone else...
Pretty gross to think that when you eat eggs you're essentially consuming a chicken's period. So gross.
Chickens don't have "periods". That's really far off from how it works.
"Female chickens have a menstrual cycle that can be daily during certain times of the year. Like women, hens have ovaries. During a hen’s cycle, an ovary sends a yolk on its path. The yolk forms what we know of as an “egg white” as it moves through the reproductive tract into the shell gland. The shell takes about 21 hours to form and “Cluck!”—out pops an egg!

PeTA? The notorious liars of the universe? How about this: Find a real veterinary website that backs that up because I've never seen a real veterinarian say that. I've seen kooks say that.

I'm not sure. Try googling it.
