So I calculated my b.f % on millitary online b.f calculator and fat2fit b.f tool too. They both showed 11% which is pretty much good enough for dudes but I still think its lower because well I got really wide hips for a guy, They are just genetically big. I've done many things to cut em down but doesn't work so. I measured same on fitness bizalcs which doesn't require hips measurement and it showed 9.7% which I think is correct because I've seen guys with that b.f %. So while calculating body fat %, Do we have to include hips measurements too? I got mixed reactions on misc so just wanted to know. I am getting ready for this college competetion my coach suggest and hips measurement thingy is really coming in way -__-

Not sure exactly. Those hand held things don't work or aren't accurate and I never got checked which is the proper way. One time the hand held thing said 9%ish which is pretty accurate, think I'm between 7-9%, then another time it said 5, I told thd guy I think his machine's broke at the gym, lol

Military online B.F for me says - body fat = 7% You meet the Department of Defense goal.
I believe I am less than 7%.
I think the best way to calculate bf% is through the water submersion technique, and I forgot what it is called. The calipers is one of the least effective way of calibrating BF%.
