Need help with caring for Rook Piercing?

So I recently got my rook pierced, I think it was about 4 or 5 weeks ago. The piercer said it would be healed in 6 weeks, I'm not sure how true that is because when I look at my piercing it still looks a bit swollen. Nothing hectic, just not the same size as the unpierced rook. Otherwise it's good. No pain, no pus or oozing. How long will it take to reduce the swelling? And what can I do to reduce the swelling?

Thanks for the comments. How often do you recommend I clean it? Once or twice a day?

its cartilage so itll be more like 3 or 4 months till it feels normal and settled and 6-8 months till its fully healed, wash it once a day with a cup of saline or salt water held over your ear or using a q tip. dont wash it more than that otherwise itll get irritated and even more sore and swollen

Salt water. Make sure you use sea salt not table salt, and warm water. That should alleviate some of the swelling.

U can reduce it by spraying sanitized alcohol ( the one that is medical ) or go to a doctor. :/
