Why do some fat people try to give advice on eating healthy/working out?

Its super annoying. I was eating a Kit Kat bar in a class and this overweight guy that sits next to me started talking to me about how unhealthy Kit Kat bars are. I workout and am in really good shape so I just chuckled and he started going on about how he is an expert in eating healthy and working out. He's going to be a nutritionist and knew a lot about what foods are good for you bla bla bla. He kept saying that eating candy like this will catch up to me in a few years bla bla bla.

But he's at least 50 pounds overweight and sounds fucking stupid giving advice to someone who is in shape. Who would take advice on eating healthy/working out from an overweight guy? And its not like I asked him anything, I was just snacking and minding my own business. So I called him out on it since he kept pushing it and he got all butthurt and stopped talking.

There's a difference between theory and practice and he was all theory.

Think of it this way. Would you take workout advice from an overweight doctor or a trainer who is in awesome shape?

I know I would choose the trainer.
