My face is so oily, what should i do?

My face is sooooo oily. It is so annoying. I do wash my face but i don't think that's enough. Lol what should i do? I have pimples also and whiteheads.

Us Asians tend to have oily face. Think about it positively, the oil gives our skin more elasticity, preventing wrinkles and making us appear younger ;)

You can wash your face more often, washing it more often also prevents acne and break outs, especially if you live in a place with high humidity. If you're on the go, there are these sheets you can buy at some drug stores that could absorb oils on your face. Ask the clerk or just google it for brands. They help reduce that shiny look and not mess up your makeup.

Thank you very much. I have the sheets but i don't use them.that much. I think i'll wash my face a little bit more often than i used to. My pimple problem is not much of a problem to me, i just hate the super oily skin, it's very annoying lol

Actually, washing too frequently can make your skin overproduce oils to compensate. Make sure the cleanser you're using isn't too harsh; try a cream or gel cleanser. Aveeno makes some good ones. Only wash twice a day (morning and night usually) . Washing at night is especially important if you are wearing any kind of makeup.
For shine throughout the day you can buy blotting papers.

Once you start doing this it will take a bit for your skin to balance out...but please, please don't wash your face 5 times a day! That is WAY too much and you are only stripping your face of the oil it actually needs and confusing it into producing even more.

Please pictures you can edit out your eyes and nose or whatever if you are shy but just post something everyone's face is oily but who knows what that means in your case?

Also if you want to remove oil then use alcohol that works perfectly but it 'dries' out your skin and makes it produce even more oil on the long run because skin is like working with fats and stuff. I use this hair water it is called Seborin nothing works against my itchy scalp exept for this the thing is that it also actually improves hair follicles and sebrum function by whatever mechanisms and I don't really care that it does that but if you smear it in your face once or twice that is probably 10x better than any non-pharmaceutrical anti-acne product and gives you smooth skin. Whatever Seborin it also ships to US and UK afaik and is common in the supermarket here quite pricey but whatever better than scratching my head all the time that is the fuck annoying.

When I was younger I had really bad oil face, I found that daily swims in the salt water kept it dried out much better then anything I else tried

Wash your face like your doing and don't use too many products, I think my face had the right balance tho if iused to much lotion it would be bad, I'm semi-oily

Use a moisturiser. Don't scrub too hard. Clean your face three times a day.

You should fry something in this oil. LOL. Come to the question: You should wash your face daily and drink lots of water and do not masturbate and you are done.

Keep it up. Make sure you use soap, not too much... a quick wash/rinse should be fine. Maybe step it up to 5 times... don't wear makeup because that clogs pores.

Change out the towel that you dry your face on. Change it like every two days, at least.

Diet too? Some peeps are sensitive to that... I'm not. If you eat fast food then stop. A lot of oily shit, then stop. etc.
