I'm 19 and engaged. I love my fiancé so much and we're happy together. We are pretty young so we're not planning for marriage now or soon. We want to build our future and plan for it carefully but still people look at us like idiots and tell us that we're doing something wrong.

This our planet: http://solarviews.com/raw/earth/earthafr.jpg
Over 7 billion people currently live on this planet. These are the offsprings of over Hundreds of thousands of years. Many of which died without finding a single person to love. Be happy that you found someone. And ignore anyone who isn't giving you kind helpful insightful advice. If it's a mistake just live and learn. You can't be human and not at least make a few mistakes in life.0

I think it's quite young and personally don't like the idea of long engagements. However, don't let anyone steal your happiness. What counts is the love between you and your partner and it sounds like you still have the right mindset in terms of wanting to build your future and all that. It's certainly OK too :)1
