What would you do if your Husband/Wife of 9 years forgot your wedding anniversary?

  • This may not be a typical guy answer, but I would assume they don't love me anymore. There is no way that I would forget. I literally start planning for my anniversary or her birthday over a month before. I can't imagine how little they would care in order to forget completely.

  • I remember the date, but never notice when it is, only like a week later. This would totally happen to me. So I wouldn't do anything "in revenge", it happens when you are caught up in things.

  • I'd do nothing. There are way more important things in a 9 year old relationship than anniversaries...

  • It wouldn't be that big of a deal to me, maybe be a tad disappointed but that's about it.

  • Nothing because I don't get upset over pointless things. Forgetting one thing on a day doesn't mean anything.

  • Forgive it, because there's probably a year I forgot it as well lol. It's not that I don't care, I'm just horrible with dates '^^. I barely even remember my best friend's birthday - have to put it on my calendar as an alert to make sure I don't forget. Life gets so busy, and the days can fly by without you even realizing it.

So I wouldn't be upset. Maybe a little disappointed, but we can always celebrate it on another day and do something special if we want to make up for it.

  • I will feel a bit upset but then I will get over it if he is generally a good husband.
