Thoughts One Morning, A Poem

Aditya
Life has become a frigid corpse,
a half-dead zombie evolving in thoughts...
Is she the elixir of life?
that makes my feeling for her 'rife'

I tell her I love her - with no impact,
my life being toyed around with some tact...
The feelings I played with, long back in time
Ceremoniously avenge, making me mime.

My feelings confuse me so do my mind
am I deluded, that would be too kind...

I want her to feel my passion and the love within
... whilst I close my eyes to flowing rhyme.

Subconsciously standing I am back in my recital
...facing the sensei who has made me subtle,
(With hands juxtaposed together to start my poem)
...the eyes around me check once more
before giving a nod to make me create furor...

"I open the diary to look at the words,
they open up, marking you are close
they have no substance, they have no life
until you are there to blow it ripe"

A loud thunder breaks my reverie
standing in present, all cold and numb
she holds my hand to make me remember
the words I had written in love for her...

---
So different we were
the first time we met
My ways and yours
were so set

Nothing alike at all
You know that's true
In fact so many differences
between me and you

I got to know you better
and on my life
and made quite an impact
Well you know the old saying
"Opposites do attract"

We are opposite
as night and day
But you know I would have it
no other way

Because in what I lack
you made up for
You're just someone
that I adore

Do you know something about us
that's really neat
You and I together equal
one complete

So please don't ever change
and neither will I
Our relationship has everything it needs
in ample supply

Lets hold onto each other tight
You know we'll go far
I miss you just the way you are...

...the moment I stopped she broke into tears
I knew it was taboo, but she is too dear
I went across to wipe it clean...

My love for her stopped me short
handing her a kerchief, it made me turn

(Her eyes said it all, though she liked me her love was somewhere else)

I'll live with her love that were the thoughts,
as I switched on the system to start some work...
