The despair of my ripened soul
Cannot aid but wither,
For our collided cores made whole,
My bliss thou did deliver.
Rejoice, My wintertide is spent,
Thine spirit’s warmth did thaw,
Revived my zeal to springtide’s scent,
Thou stitched my every flaw.
I beseech of thee to tarry here,
For if not, my heart shall wane,
And if thou must thirst another’s endear,
My wintertide falls again.
