Some of us are in search of someone to give our hearts to on this day.
Even though Valentine's day is only 24 hours of our life,
it is human nature to want to feel loved and cared for.
On this day,
You look to your left....
And you see this young lady flooded with joy,
Opening her gifts and smelling her flowers.
You look to your right...
And there you see this couple wrapped in eachothers arms,
exchanging kisses.
Love is all around you.
You want that!
You deserve that!
On this day......
You can't help but feel blue.
You've known all along, that you're alone.
But with Valentine's day being here the realization hits you even harder.
You wish you could feel the joy that those around you seem to be experiencing.
But you won't.....
you are stuck!
All alone without a Valentine.
The person that you love should be an extension of yourself.
The great feelings that they bring you...should only add to those
that you already feel inside.
Love yourself!
Enjoy your own company.
You are only missing out,
when you allow something to be lost.
Any one can recieve a gift...
Any one can receive flowers...
Any one can be told, "I love you". (whether it's true or not)
But not everyone can you look in the eyes and say,
"I am contented with who I am as a being.
Although possessions may be great, I do
not need that in order to feel completed.
I am already full with the love I have for myself.
I love my imperfections, that cannot be changed.
I love all of my strengths that I continue to work on,
and thats keeps me growing as a person."
When you can truly say that...
And you don't need a special mark on the calendar to tell you
that you should feel loved,
then you have already found your Valentine.
It is you!
