I never did the professionally measured at the store treatment at a fancy bra store. I just did my own measurements at home. There are many charts at home to tell you how to measure with a flexible tape measure. After I knew my measurements I went to a department store and bought a cheap simple one there. This was back when I was first getting them. Though I still usually go to department stores for basic coverege, though I do find the occational cute set. If it were to have been better, I wish I didn't have to deal with sports bras at first and that I had know about some other structured alternative. I never liked sports bras and I was always paranoid about showing through them when I was younger.

I was a really early bloomer, so when I started wearing sports bras/training bras in 4th grade, my guy friends would actively point it out and tease me about it. Looking back on it, it wasn't a big deal, but to a little girl that's different from most of her classmates developmentally, it was a pretty shitty feeling lol
i never had any problems. i think it's because i didn't treat it like something scary. i looked forward to it and had fun with it. i was also patient with trying sizes.
I wish I wasn't so young when I had to have my first bra. Nobody else had one for many years.
Just one advice, "you may be excited to get a bra but in actual life it feels like a prison holding your breasts." It will feel weird for the first few days but you'll learn that
Advice to girls, unless you have large breasts, don't wear bras. They're expensive and aren't usually that comfortable compared to not having one.
I don't even remember it. It wasn't a significant point in my life.
