What would be a good birthday present for my girlfriend?

My girlfriend has been working really hard for the past month. She gets up at 6:00am to go to work at 7:30am (a bit of a drive to her work) and gets back at 8:30pm - 9:00pm every weekday. Her birthday is tomorrow. But unfortunately she can't stay home from work because her boss said she really needs her in for work tomorrow. What would be a good birthday gift? I was thinking maybe a whole day of her relaxing and I do some of her work the day after tomorrow because she gets that day off. I just don't want to do that for her. I want to do something more but I can't think of anything. If you're thinking jewelry, she can't wear that because she's allergic to certain metals inside most of them. Please help me because I'm stuck

ill maybe add in that she's no girly - girl. she's more of a "tomboy" if you ask me. so she's not all about makeup clothes, designer things, etc. i know i shouldve said that before

That sounds like a nice idea. If you want to get her a gift as well then think of things she really likes - food, clothes, TV shows, movies, music, books etc. Also maybe little things only you know she likes. Maybe nice nightie/PJs/dressing gown, chocolate or some kind of food she likes... does she like perfume? Does she collect anything? Does she like cutesy things or whacky stuff? Something that'd make her laugh? Is she more if a tomboy or girly girl, what's she into? Has she mentioned anything lately that she needs or hasn't had time to get or do that you could? Make her a USB/ipod playlist for her to listen to in the car when she drives to work? Special coffee cup/flask/thermos to take to work with image on it of something she really likes?

I had the same situation my boyfriend was in your case, he actually organized a nice spa day with only me and him, we where at this amazing spa with Jacuzzi and Saunas, and we chilled the whole day, then we had an amazing dinner and went to the cinema, he paid way to much and I felt so bad for him paying so much, but we enjoyed the day and we loved it.

On the other hand, a nice relaxing day with massages, cooked dinner at home, and a nice movie at home would be also amazing.

or just a Teddy bear with a nice note on it... you have the whole day tomorrow to organize everything so just do something cute and she'll be fine trust me <3

Maybe make a simple romantic dinner at home, if you can't cook then just buy something that you can heat up. Put a bit of candles around the house and just make it look cosy, this way she can relax without having to worry about dressing up to go outside. Maybe doing some presents like this, its called the 5 senses gifts!

Man, it is very much easy just book a restaurant with all those romantic couple specials one but make sure are the only couple there and make it surprise and don't let her know about it and pretend you don't remember then go with her and help her out in her office work and then when job is all done drive the car yourself and take her to that restaurant you booked and remember to bring her a gift girls like your girlfriend appreciate useful things so gift her a branded and beautiful wrist watch just remember to small-small things like these and she will be happy for your efforts

oh that's a sweet girl, ,, i will tell you, take the time to wander a mall , and buy her a nice summery dress ,, bright cute colors with some small flowers, and a light brown flat sandals,, and if you have money, maybe a crossed small bag... she will love it, and she will smile.. nothing have to be expensive,, just pretty and girls, .. she will know you think and care about her

Think of what's she's interested in? listen to what she says and how she expresses things. She may talk about a holiday she once had and how she'd love to return or you could give her something that has holds a meaning for both of you or just for her. even if it a picture of you and her with a personal message on the frame.

If you can, take her flowers and a cupcake at work. If she likes wine or champagne, or maybe just a certain type of beer, you can pick that up for her. If she's a make-up gal, maybe a gift certificate to Sephora if you have those, or Ulta if you have those. I usually prefer to have my husband or boyfriend take me out shopping and getting a new dress or something, but not if I didn't have much free time. I think a day of pampering would be nice. I'd love a trip to a Korean Spa.
