Should I go to crushes birthday party?

okay so my crush invited me to his birthday party tonight but I don't know if I should go. one of our mutual friends told me that he hasn't said anything about liking me but he did tell her about other girls that he thought were hot. in yet he flirts with me plus his guy friend told me that he does like me. and to go for it! I don't know to show up to the party?(will it make me look desperate) or should I not go at all? or if I should even spend my time on this guy?

i say go. don't make this into a bigger deal than it is. treat him as a friend, don't throw yourself at him. if he sees you there and doesn't even say hi or anything then you know he doesn't care that much about you and you can move on. if he does say hi and you guys talk and hang out, then look for signs that he likes you and just have fun. you're overthinking this whole thing

Definitely go! I think he likes you. Maybe your girlfriend mght b a little jealous and isn't mentioning to you that he's talked about u. Hate to say it, but sometimes girls do this to each other. I say go for a while, play it cool, see how he acts and take it from there! Good luck!

To me, it sounds like you're falling into the typical gender role of women lying back while men make all the effort and do all the chasing. Put some of your own effort in - flirting, compliments, etc - and it will be much easier for the both of you.
