It's quite a long story so I'll keep it short:
I've known her for a long time now since 2009. We're 21 now. Some signs of interest include: she flirted a lot with me with her actions like she flipped her hair while walking and stared at me in a sexy way, etc and also was very enthusiastic to see me most of the time. And she would always blush when I saw her. However she would also give me mixed signals, like she would seem not into me sometimes but in general she seemed that she was interested. I did ask her out once which she agreed to. However it was a busy period back then and I didn't really ask her out again (I was busy with so many important exams). Also she's a very busy person too because she is more studious than me.
However I sort of ignored her in the middle around 2010 when I was trying to play hard to get and seem not interested in seeing her. I sort of ignored her and said "cya" and I know I did the wrong thing. After that she was noticeably more distant to me. And when I asked her out via text (I was rude but I really wanted to see her so much) at the end of 2010, she deleted me off Facebook. I actually texted her out once and she didn't reply so I texted her again.
However at the beginning of 2011, I went to see her at college. She seemed really happy to see me and very enthusiastic and I acted really sorry. She asked me "what's wrong?" and kept looking at me with a smile. And after that I saw her a few times (we study different courses) and she responded very enthusiastically and was happy to see me again. This is my immediate problem.
I'm not sure if it's a clue that she likes me. So I want to ask your opinions about this. I really like her so much and I always think about her.
Her birthday is soon, should I text her happy birthday? Facebook her "happy birthday"? Call her? I don't know what to do. And would this seem creepy or obsessive?
And how should I initiate a conversation with her when I see her again at college? It would be a bit awkward since the last time I saw her was like a month ago and I would only be able to see her around January or February. So how should I handle this situation? This is my future problem.
