Oh, Halloween, the most joyous day of the year for many people. The only day you can dress up without worrying about judgment, talk to total strangers, and get free candy from some freaky people. However, Halloween isn't all about the tricks and the treats. Halloween is a day where you can pretend to be someone else. You can start off fresh for a day, and enjoy a day as your favorite character, idol, or creature. Why should there be an age limit? I'm nearly 17 years old, and I still dress up more than the 8 year old in my family. I get to replace my face with a new one, and no one has to know who I am. I can be me, and no one will even know, so I won't have to worry about judgment later. Just because you don't want to trick-or-treat any longer, that doesn't mean people in your age group shouldn't be allowed to! I will become a Dr. Seuss character, and there's nothing you can do about it! So to those being dissed, just ignore the hate. Be whoever the hell you want to be this Halloween, just stay safe and be respectful to other people, and everyone can be happy!
