Wet fingies you'll need:



  • 1 1/2 cup of warm/luke warm water

  • 1/2 white sugar

  • 1 packet of yeast


Mix these jokers up in a large ass bowl manes 'n' let it site for a good 10 minutes. Yes you must stir it so dat shit disolves.


More fingies you'll need:



  • 2 Lightly beated large eggs

  • 1 1/4 table spoon of salt

  • 1 cup of evaporated milk

  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla


Mix these together in a separate smaller bowl 'n' once again you do have to stir it.


Once all of this hoohaa is done you need to mix your egg mixture, and the yeast mixture together in the large bowl the yeast mixture is in.


Some dry type of thingies you'll need and shortening:



  • 7 cups of all purpose flour

  • 1/4 cup shortening


Add 3 cups of flour to the wet mixture in the large bowl and stir to combine it, then add in your shortening and don't stop stirring. Once those are all good and combined add in the rest of your flour.


It's best to mix with your hands after you've added the first 2-3 cups of flour so your stiring shit doesn't break.


Lightly flour a clean and large surface, and kneed your dough your dough until it's night as smooth. (Don't be afraid to lightly flour your surface again if things get sticky.)



More needed shate:



  • Large bowl



  • Non-stick spray or vegetable oil



  • Plastic wrap


Clean the large bowl you've used for the yeast mixture, and then coat it with some non stick spray. After that place the dough into the bowl and cover it with plastic wrap. Make sure you let this shit sit in the fridge for 3 hours to rise.

After every thing has risen place your dough on the lightly floured surface again 'n' roll it out with a rolling pin or whine bottle or some shit like that until it's 1/2 an inch thick, and begin cutting it by 3x2 inch rectangle pieces. (Make sure whatever it is you're rolling the dought out with is lightly floured too.)


More fingies 'n' shate you'll be needing:



  • Pot

  • Vegetavle oil for deep frying


Start pre-heating this stuff about 10-5 minutes before you start rolling out 'n' cuttin' your dough.


All that's left to do now is deep fry it for about 2-3 minutes each, and place it some where to dry just like what you do with bacon or fried chicken.


Oopsy I almost forgot these finges too:



  • 3 cup's of powdered (confectioners) sugar to lightly sprinkle over your beignets for flavor~

  • Add honey if you want to be exactly like Princess Tiana. I personally don't do this and leave them as is at this point since I hate honey. You can also try other sweet sauces with it instead.


Another fun 'n' yummy thing you can to is put 2/3 cups cinnimon and 1 cup granulated (white) sugar in a large plastic sandwich bag and coat your beignets in them. (It taste soooo good.)
