Hey, World! Where has the love gone?
In a world bombarded with pessimism and hatred, people get to be faithless when it comes to love. Little do they know that acts out of love are done every single time; they just are not aware of them happening.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. (1 Corinthians 13:4-7)
Here are eight random acts of love I see in my day-to-day living.
1. Love for self
We see people everyday devoting their time and whatever it takes for them to be better persons. This is when personal fulfillment is attained. Their demand for self-respect is supplied by themselves.
2. Love for photography
Whether it may entail selfies or professionally-taken images, love for photography is eminent for all time as this captures memories and occasions of great significance.
3. Love for country
This is more to being patriotic. We love our respective countries as we yearn for good governance. There has to be something striking about countries that their inhabitants love, be it culture or economic stability.
4. Love for family
Your SO belongs here!
We all appreciate and love all the members of the family that we belong to unconditionally. Family is the basic foundation of society and strong family ties do help us in feeling loved and nurtured.
5. Love for freedom
We tend to fight for our love in doing everything in our favor.
6. Love for nature and biodiversity
Whether plants or animals, we humans fight for the protection of every species on Earth. How people fight for them varies. For example, people enact laws devoted to the protection thereof.
7. Love for culture
Culture has a say on our personality. This is eminent for people practicing ethnic dances frequently as well as for people who wholeheartedly participate in various cultural activities in their areas.
8. Love for profession
We see people who are passionate about their means of making money for their living and loving their fields for what they are.
