3 of the World's Most Haunted Places (That You'll Never Want To Visit)

#1--Zombie Road, Missouri, USA

If it's name alone creeps you out, then the fact of it being one of the most haunted places in America will make you want to keep at least one-state distance. It is essentially a walking trail because it was originally designed for carriages, and ever since the haunting have accrued, it has fallen into disrepair.

Those who haunt it are comprised of dead railway workers who built the low-gauge tracks, and some old people who were burnt alive in a care home that was nearby. At the end of the trail, there are old abandoned shacks that once housed the workers, one of which is home to a woman who cries out to you, and if you go to investigate, you find nothing, except a bone chilling feeling you carry with you for ages.

Those who walk the trail during sunset have reported seeing silhouettes of people standing in the distance, waving at them friendly, or throwing rocks at them. I think it's safe to say those who went to see if these rumors are true dearly regret it.

#2--Aokigahara, Mt Fuji, Japan

We all know of the suicidal tendencies of the Japanese. It's not just a racial stereotype crammed down their throats by the Kamikazes of WW2...It extends more towards the unrealistic and strict standards of honor forced on them.

You know why all the best stuff comes from Japan? Because if they don't make a good product, they get severely punished, shamed, and more. Hundreds of Japanese(avg of 400/year) come to end their lives here by hanging and OD-ing.

And THOSE are just the one's they have found. The forest is so dense and navigable(not to mention cell phones and even compasses don't work there because of the magnetic earth it's on) ...That they are finding many bodies in multiple states from still-warm to completely skeletelized.

These bodies are taken to a ranger station, where at night, they have been reported to creep around aimlessly, possibly in search of company{suicidal people are pretty lonely after all). So the rangers play a game of chance to decide who must sleep in the same building as the corpses. SERIOUSLY?! I wouldn't do that for maximum US wage, and they have to do that for barely more than minimum wage.

The government has put heaps of signs on the forests borders that read something like, "Your life is a precious gift from your parents. Seek help and reconsider. You are not alone." And sometimes list numbers of help services.

You've probably already guessed who's haunting the forest as well. Besides the suicides, those who haunt it are unwanted children and old people from the middles ages, who were abandoned in the forest and left to die because they became a burden on their families during Japans depression.

#3 Centralia, Pennsylvania, USA

Remember the movie and game Silent Hill? Bloody scary wasn't it? Well this place is the Silent Hill of reality, minus the hellish monsters.

It was once a rich coal-mining town, with it's mines a few dozen feet from the surface underneath it. But then the contents of the mine caught fire one day, and then everything that could have gone wrong did. The earth cracked like a giant paving stone hit with a sledgehammer, the townspeople and miners were forced to leave, and the town was reduced to what seems like a gate to hell.

The US government assured people that nobody got hurt, much less died there. But if that's the case, then why has visitors to the place reported apparitions appearing in the smoke, whispering to them and threatening them? Well we know that government agencies produce more BS than they can dispose of[Examples: Global Warming and 2012 hoaxes]
